An Ad To Make Your Heart Tingle

Scrolling through the Internet (My beloved Internet), I was having a look for every lat minute piece of information I could get to be ultra prepared for the Women's World Cup this summer (It's almost here! It's almost here! Yiahhhh!).

Anyway... I continue scrolling down and see a notification: "Your Pizza delivery will be here in 2 minutes." Great news but besides the point. With my pizza on the way I decided to just relax and watch some YouTube when I came upon something trully special.

A Nike advert that read: "Dream Further." That's the name of the video, which already has over 71M views since it's upload yesterday, 1st of June. In the video, Nike prepares us for the Women's World Cup that's about to start in France in just "6 days" (Starts on June 7 but... Only 6 days left? Blood of Jesus).

The road to get to this moment has been long and strenuous, for everyone, because women's football has had to win, little by little and with much effort, a place in the world of football; a world that has been dominated by men for many years. Despite this, there are people who do appreciate the sacrifice that these professional players have had to endure to meet their goals and dreams. That's why Nike wanted to recognize this path.

"Do not change your dream, change the world" was the slogan of the spectacular video (the one you should be about to watch. Yes... That one down below) that the sportswear brand has just launched, which seeks to continue to promote a women's World Cup in France that looks to be the best and most anticipated to date.

The video shows everything you Would expect: Matches, players and top stars like Lieke Martens, Andressa Alves, and Kerr appeared (The ad even featured Brazilian superstar, Neymar Jr playing a bit of Women's edition fifa) However, the real protagonist of this story is Makena Cooke, a 10-year-old soccer player from California.

The ad is clearly a piece of inspiration for all those young girls who want to play and become professionals one day.

An ad like this not only shows the importance of the new generations, but it also encourages multiple fans around the world to kick a ball and enjoy. So, it's time to kick the ball and get started for what's coming next: The Women's World Cup is here!
